Welcome to the Official Website for BSA Troop 173, Parsippany New Jersey

Scouting makes a direct and positive impact on your community by teaching positive values and leadership skills to your son.  With over 50 Scouts, we are a very active and fun filled troop.  Troop 173 offers a wide range of activities and learning experiences for your child that focus on their continued growth as they progress through the program.  We strive to incorporate education, character building, growth, teamwork, and primarily FUN for our Scouts.  We are a "Family Friendly" troop that encourages Moms or Dads to attend our meetings, special events, and  camping trips so that everyone can experience the fun, together.

Troop 173 consists of boys primarily from Parsippany.  Due to our strength as a Troop and our family centered focus, we also draw from other nearby towns as well.
